Centre Parks - Surprise Cocktail Party

This party was organised and took place in Centre Parks Nottingham. There were thirty guests, and to ensure that they was no waiting around for drinks and the empty glasses were taken care of we supplied two bartenders. At certain points in the evening one bartender would act as a glass collector and also would restock the bar with ice and fresh fruits. The bartenders came with all the necessary cocktail equipment. They also provided a bin and cleaning equipment so that they could leave the area as it was when they arrived.

All Hallows Business and Enterprise College

For this event we provided a Bartender for the morning and all the equipment and ingredients required. The day was split into seven short seminars. During each seminar, the bartender delivered a short talk on the importance of using fresh ingredients in drinks as well as how to create a balance of flavors. Then the way to cost each drink was shown, they were given a sample drink and showed how to make it for themselves. They were then guided through creating their own drinks and costing them.

‘Crazyblend Cocktails recently took part in a Year 10 Enterprise Day which put the pupils in the role of event coordinator to plan a school prom. We were looking for someone to deliver an activity on making non-alcoholic cocktails, and luckily we found Chris Withey, from Crazyblend Cocktails. The students loved his demonstration of how to make a tasty and attractive drink. Chris also helped our students work through the concept of creating their own non-alcoholic cocktail including pricing and costing. Overall, this workshop was very hands-on and contributed greatly to our day. We hope to have him back soon!’

Lorna’s 27th

A house party with something special. For this party, Lorna, the hostess, was sent a list of ingredients to provide. One of our bartenders arrived at her flat with plenty of time to then juice fruits and prepare the area with glasses, which we supplied, and the rest of the necessary equipment. Throughout the evening the bartender made drinks for the client’s guest and catered for their every need. He made drinks that were present on the menu and also that were not, ensuring to make the drinks most suited to the guest preferences.

18th Birthday Party

This party was organised by the birthday girls sister and father. It involved holding a pre-club cocktail reception for 20 of her friends. During this time the guests were entitled to unlimited cocktails at the bar. The pricing was set with certain price bands. The bartender let the client know as each of these bands was met with the intension that if they were met to quickly the bartender would stop serving. This was to ensure that the cost of the party did not exceed the budget originally decided upon.

Jill's birthday

The perfect way to celebrate a birthday with style. This particular evening was a surprise 50th Birthday party. The organiser, hired the staff (one cocktail bartender and bar back), but supplied their own bar. This hire charge was set as a minimum profit from the bar, meaning that as long as the bar's profit for the evening was equal to or higher than the cost of the staff the client had no cost! This minimum was set as £350, which was easily reached on the bar and therefore the client had no cost!

The cocktail list was left entirely up to us so we produced a list of ten different cocktails, including non-alcoholic cocktails for those that were driving, to young for or simply did not fancy any alcohol. We provided a list that incorporated many different flavors and preferences so that all sorts of customer would be satisfied.
